Hi, my name is Jodi Hauptman-Drannen, and I own & operate jhd photography. My studio is located near Beaver Lake which is only 20 minutes south of Omaha & Bellevue, Nebraska.
No, the photo to the left is not me, but my daughter, Lily. She along with my husband, Scott, and son, Dakota, are my biggest supporters, and I am grateful!
I’d like to share some things about myself and jhd photography. I have been crazy about taking pictures since I was in the 4th grade when my parents put a camera in my hands to document my first school field trip. While studying both the technical & artistic aspects of photography, I had a marketing assignment that sparked the idea for jhd photography. It was then that I decided to venture into the world of professional photography!
Although I am adept at all types of portrait photography, my passion is weddings. It is a privilege to capture the emotion, excitement, and beauty on the pivotal day in the life of a couple in love. It is important for me to develop a collaborative relationship with every couple in order to incorporate the style of photography that best complements the flow of the wedding day. I strive to make the process fun and stress-free for all involved.
